Senior .NET Full Stack Developer at DBAce Technologies
About this role
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications for a global client. The role involves working across the full technology stack, including Angular, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure. The candidate will be responsible fortranslating business requirements into design and logic, through implementation, testing, and release — while coordinating closely with frontend, business, and platform teams through incident management, bug fixing, change requests, new feature development, application support, and continuous improvements while ensuring application stability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Independently own backend development — design, build, test, and release ASP.NET Core Web APIs and Razor MVC admin features across a layered solution (Domain / Infrastructure / API), setting conventions others follow.
· Translate business requirements into logic: work directly with business stakeholders and product owners to turn requirements (access rules, visibility scoping, order/milestone behaviour) into clear domain models, services, and testable code.
· Coordinate with the frontend team and align to the API contract: co-design the SDUI content/schema/meta envelope, negotiate contract changes, keep backend-owned labels/tooltips/composition in sync, and roll out changes without breaking the FE.
· Implement SSO with Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID): OIDC/JWT authentication, token validation, role/claims mapping, and secure session handling for internal and external users.
· Design and evolve the data layer: EF Core against SQL Server — entities, configurations, migrations, indexing, and efficient queries; plus Snowflake integration (parameterized queries, key-pair auth, read-only view allow-lists).
· Build secure RBAC/access-control logic: role resolution, per-rule order visibility, admin area-of-responsibility scoping, and the request→grant/reject lifecycle — deny-by-default, audited, least-privilege.
· Run the delivery pipeline in Azure DevOps: manage work items/boards, branch/PR workflow, and CI/CD pipelines; drive migration-safe, feature-flagged releases.
· Uphold engineering quality: comprehensive unit tests (xUnit + NSubstitute), code reviews, and pragmatic documentation of interfaces and data flows.
· Integrate Azure platform services: Key Vault (secrets), Blob Storage (attachments), Microsoft Graph (transactional email).
Required
· 7–8 years professional backend development in C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core Web API and/or MVC), including delivering enterprise-grade applications in production.
· Proven ability to work independently and own a backend area — from requirements to release — with minimal hand-holding.
· Hands-on experience implementing SSO with Azure AD / Entra ID (OIDC, JWT, claims/role mapping).
· Strong SQL and data-handling skills — SQL Server schema design, complex queries, performance tuning, and EF Core (migrations, configurations, query optimization).
· Solid REST API design and contract-first collaboration with a frontend team; comfortable defining and versioning API contracts.
· Experience with Azure DevOps — Boards, Repos, and CI/CD Pipelines.
· Strong grasp of application security: authN/authZ, RBAC, secret management, parameterized queries, input validation, auditing.
· Automated testing discipline (xUnit/NUnit + mocking) and clean, layered, DI-based architecture.
· Excellent communication — able to engage business stakeholders, clarify requirements, and explain technical trade-offs in plain language.
Nice to have
· Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse; analytical SQL.
· Broader Azure experience: App Service, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Microsoft Graph.
· Server-Driven / config-driven UI or SDUI contract design.
· SAP / ERP data domains (sales orders, deliveries, invoices, profit centers).
· Redis / distributed caching, background/hosted services.
· Exposure to compliance and security reviews (VAPT, data-flow/architecture documentation, HA/DR, RPO/RTO).
· Mentoring or tech-lead experience; API/architecture documentation.
