L3 Non-IT Engineer  

Min. Qualification 

B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA or equivalent; Electrical / Electronics 

/ Mechanical Engineering disciplines also considered 

Min. Experience 

More than 5 years of hands-on experience in non-IT facility and 

physical infrastructure Operations and maintenance management, 

preferably in a data centre or operations centre environment 

Key Responsibilities 

∙Own L3-level operational responsibility for all non-IT 

physical infrastructure within the Command & Control 

centre — Video Wall (20 cubes), Precision Cooling, 

Electrical Distribution, UPS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, 

CCTV, and Smart Racks, DG (with oil level) 

∙Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective 

checks on all non-IT systems; maintain equipment logs, 

inspection records, and AMC status. Create Run book and 

SOP’s 

∙Monitor environmental and power health parameters from 

CCCC dashboards; escalate anomalies to the Operations 

Manager immediately and trigger vendor response as needed 

∙Serve as the technical escalation point for L2 Non-IT 

resources operating in each shift; review escalated physical 

infrastructure issues and ensure timely vendor engagement 

or hands-on resolution 

∙Ensure timely renewal of OEM AMC contracts 

∙Raise incidents in Motadata ServiceOps for non-IT 

infrastructure failures; ensure tickets are correctly 

categorised and tracked through to resolution 

∙Manage all vendor access within the CCCC premises for 

maintenance activities; supervise third-party technicians and 

validate work completion before signing off 

∙Co-ordinate AMC renewals, spare parts availability, and 

service scheduling with facility/equipment vendors 

∙Support Go-Live and DR drill activities as they relate to 

physical infrastructure readiness; confirm availability of all 

non-IT systems ahead of drills 

Skills & Competencies 

∙Video wall systems: cube-based display (Barco), controller 

operation, calibration, and basic fault diagnosis 

∙Electrical: UPS, DG sets, power distribution boards, 

grounding, earthing, and load management 

∙Cooling: precision air conditioning units, in-row cooling, 

environmental monitoring systems (temperature, humidity) 

∙Physical security and safety: CCTV NVR/DVR, biometric 

access control, fire detection and suppression systems 

∙AMC and vendor management; preventive maintenance 

scheduling and compliance tracking 

Preferred Certifications 

Relevant electrical / BMS / facility management certification
