Senior BI & Data Analytics Analyst at DBAce Technologies

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior BI & Data Analytics Analyst with 5–6 years of relevant experience who can independently own business requirements, data analysis, reporting delivery, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will combine strong stakeholder management and analytical capabilities with advanced Power BI expertise and a solid understanding of data architecture, backend data flows, and SQL logic. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between Business and IT teams, investigate complex data and reporting issues, identify root causes, and translate business needs into effective reporting solutions. The candidate should be comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of reporting initiatives rather than functioning primarily in a development or support capacity.

Key Responsibilities ● Own the end-to-end reporting lifecycle, including requirement gathering, data analysis, development, and delivery. ● Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. ● Perform root-cause analysis on complex data and reporting issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions. ● Independently manage stakeholder expectations and provide status updates on reporting initiatives. ● Lead data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications ● 5–6 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or a related role. ● Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, complex calculations, report development, and troubleshooting. ● Strong SQL knowledge, including the ability to read and understand complex queries, joins, aggregations, and transformation logic. ● Solid understanding of relational data structures, source-to-target data flows, data transformations, and data dependencies. ● Proven ability to gather requirements and independently manage stakeholder expectations. ● Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience performing root-cause analysis on data and reporting issues. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings in business-friendly language.

Preferred Skills ● Primary Technology: Power BI, SQL ● Preferred Technology: Databricks, EDF ● Familiarity with Databricks and EDF, particularly in the context of backend data migration and reporting modernization. ● Experience working with multiple source systems and complex enterprise data environments. ● Exposure to data lineage,
